Through its experience, its competent choice and ambition to represent internationally recognized artists, but also promising talents, Galerie Schortgen (since 1949) has quickly been able to forge a solid reputation in the national and international artistic landscape. We are resolutely turned towards contemporary art, without setting us on a single stream, whether figurative or abstract. Our creed is the artistic quality in all its enriching diversity. The Gallery team in Luxembourg City organizes about ten exhibitions annually and shows a range of selected national and international artists such as Stéphane Halleux, Jean Moiras, Marlis Albrecht, Matthias Verginer and many more. We regularly organize exhibitions in public places outside our walls and gained experiences in participating in various international Art Fairs.

We show you the pieces of art in question on the spot, while putting our expertise at your service to advise you, at no cost to you, with no obligation to purchase.
Buy or sell
Your inner changes, your tastes change too. The classical picture that accords more with the new contemporary furnishings will perhaps happiness to someone else? We handle the sale of your art. With this money you can treat yourself to the room of your dreams ... If you find it in our picture rails, it will be in addition to the conditions reserved for you.
Frames
We advise you in the choice of custom framing, which will optimize your work, without competing with it. We have a wide and varied range of craft beads and rods, classic or avant-garde, we can fill your needs. To better protect your valuable items, our passepartouts, paper and cardboard are ph-neutral.
Restoration
Whether classic or contemporary painting, material or sentimental value, new acquisition, or family room requiring reclamation, we do the cleaning and restoration of your works in our workshops according to the rules of 'art. It is obvious that with us the quote is free.
Expertise
We value your paintings and other artwork at fair value. Such estimates can be very useful when a legacy before a sale or an acquisition, for insurance, etc.
