Sigrid von Lintig was born in Duisburg in 1965 and currently lives and works in Aachen. After studying graphic design at the Fachhochschule in Aachen, she continued her studies in fine arts at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Düsseldorf. In her work, the artist relies on photography, a medium that is closest to reality. She experiments with various perspectives and captures these in her paintings. At the same time, she integrates her favorite athletic activity, namely swimming, into her art. The artist has already won numerous prizes and has taken part in renowned art fairs such as Art Cologne and Art Karlsruhe.
